陈洪,男,汉族,重庆市璧山县人,理学博士,教授,博士生导师,中国核物理学会理事、重庆市物理学会副理事长、教育部物理学本科教学指导委员(1998—2022年度)。1981年至1985年西南大学(原西南师范大学)物理学专业本科。1988年至1991年四川大学(原成都科技大学)理论物理专业硕士。1994年至1997年中科院高能物理研究所粒子物理专业博士。2006年至2007年新西兰梅西大学科学所短期高访。1985年起一直在高校从事教学和科研工作,1998年6月起任西南大学教授。
主要从事强子物理和计算物理研究,主持国家自然科学基金、教育部科学技术重点、重庆市自然科学基金重点等项目十余项,以第一作者或通讯作者在Phys. Rev. D, Phys. Lett. B, Phys. Rev. C, Eur. Phys. J. A, J. Phys. G, Phys. Rev. B, J. Phys. Chem. C, Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., Appl. Surf. Sci., J. Phys. D等国际学术期刊上发表论文100余篇,获重庆市自然科学奖二等奖和三等奖各一项。
主要承担量子力学、原子物理学、物理学中的群论等的教学任务,科学出版社出版物理学本科用教材一部,主持了教育部新世纪教育教学工程项目、物理学国家级特色专业建设。
